| In Hoyle’s Press your bets will have a simple
progression, from 1X to 5X the starting bet. You will increase by one
unit on a win, and decrease by one unit on a loss. At the same time, you
will be switching from pass to don’t pass (or vice versa) on wins and
staying where you are on losses. Let’s take a practical look at this
system using $5 units. You start with a $5 bet on the pass line. The
shooter makes his point, so you win. You increase your bet and switch,
so you now bet $10 on the don’t pass. The shooter makes his point again,
but this time you lose so you decrease your bet and stay there. You have
$5 on the don’t pass. Now the shooter sevens out so you win your bet.
You won, so you increase your bet to $10 again and bet on the pass line.
Craps Secret # 78 - What are the secrets of the
System 31 Progression?
This progression itself is pretty simple and for $1
units it always adds up to 31 -
$1, $1, $1, $2, $2, $4, $4, $8, $8 (total $31). If you use $5 units, you
need to bet like this - $5, $5, $5, $10, $10, $20, $20, $40, $40 (total
$155). You might want to find a low limit table (weekday mornings are
best) and try this out using $1 units. It’s easier to track this way,
and you can get used to it before you try it with $5 or $10 units. The
important thing to remember is that when you win a bet, you need to
press your winnings to make the next bet and then call the series over
and start from the beginning. So, most of the time, you will not be
making nine bets, but stopping when you’ve won two in a row. |
