Nintendo announced
its plans to bring Pokemon Stadium to the US. Currently under
development by HAL Laboratories, the game will be based on the
second Japanese edition of Pokemon Stadium. The four-player
RPG will contain turn-based battles similar to the Game Boy
version of Pokemon, as well as several minigames.
The game's main attraction is a piece of hardware that lets
you connect Game Boy carts to your N64 controller. This will
let you use the Pokemon you've already trained on the Game Boy
in the stadium events on the N64. Pokemon Stadium is scheduled
for a fall release, but in the meantime, you can check out
these screenshots of the game in action. |
